Chadwicks Unveils New Look and Location for Santry Branch 

Wednesday, 11th March 2026: Chadwicks, Ireland’s leading builders’ merchant, has revealed the new Santry branch, now located at Airways Industrial Estate, just four minutes away from the previous location. Chadwicks Group CEO Patrick Atkinson, Managing Director Ken Brougham, Branch Manager David Finlay, Regional Director Ross O’Connor, Administration Manager Angela Balfe and Building Materials Supervisor, Martin Paisley, were thrilled to cut the ribbon at the official store opening.
The Santry branch is 35th out of 38 Chadwicks branches revamped since 2018, as Chadwicks continues its nationwide branch upgrade programme.
Established over 40 years ago, Chadwicks Santry is an integral part of the local community, long-standing colleagues have been serving the needs of local tradespeople and DIYers for generations. The new format of the branch provides more choice, while the same 21-strong Santry team will be on hand at the new location to provide the expertise customers have come to expect over the years.
The Chadwicks Santry colleagues are excited to see new and returning customers exploring all that the new branch has to offer, and to mark the occasion, there will be a series of special offers until 7th April including the Makita DJ180Z LI-ION Jigsaw 18V (Body Only) (€99), Makita DTD152Z Impact Driver 18V LXT (Body Only) (€99) and Powerplane 3G18V Laser Level (€419).

Customer-centric design

Chadwicks Limerick is now home to a new Build Centre, unique to the branch. The Centre brings together The Panelling Centre, the go-to destination for kitchen and wardrobe solutions, Sitetech, providing concrete and brickwork accessories, and Proline, stocking architectural hardware including door handles, cabinet hardware, hinges, locks and more. Whether customers are seeking storage solutions, or specialist brickwork accessories, the Limerick branch offers a comprehensive range, complemented by an expert consultation service for projects of all sizes.

Designed for the customer

As well as a new location, the branch comes with a completely refurbished interior, designed with the customer in mind. The Santry warehouse is much more spacious, and all timber is now stored indoors, so there is no need to fear the rain!
Among the 1,500 new product lines are kitchen taps and sinks including Quooker products, Mascot and Portwest workwear, Geberit Aquaclean Alba shower toilets, Dewalt hand tools, Roughneck demolition tools and PVC bathroom and paneling tiles.

Sophisticated security systems

At the new branch, customers will see the new Smart Home display, which showcases a range of advanced smart security solutions for the home. Smart Home products mean that users have access to 24/7 monitoring and full control of door locks, doorbells, and outdoor lighting.
